Transit Visa (TS) is for those who are in transit and are permitted to stay for 30 days. |

Tourist Visa (TR) is for visitors who visit this country for tourism purposes and are permitted to stay for 60 days. |

Non – Immigrant Visa is for foreigners who wish to work either for official business or private business, study, do research or stay with family and are permitted to stay for 90 days. |

Official Visa will be issued to foreigners who are assigned to perform official duties in the Kingdom and for holders of Official Passports of other countries or United Nations’ Passport or equivalent. Foreigners who enter the country with Official Visa are permitted to stay for 90 days. |

5. |
Diplomatic Visa will be issued to foreigner who perform duties as a foreign diplomatic official or carry out official business by holding a Diplomatic Passport. Foreigners who enter The Kingdom with this category of visa are permitted to stay for 90 days. |

6. |
Immigrant Visa is for those who wish to have permanent resident in Thailand. |

7. |
Non – Quota Immigrant Visa is issued to foreigners who apply for a resident permit under special case or a Non – Quota Immigrant status. |

On Arrival Visa is for foreigners from specified countries visiting the Kingdom for tourism purposes only. Normally, all visitors must apply for entry visas at a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate abroad before entering the Kingdom, but some nationalities are exempted from the said rules. |
15-Day Visa on Arrival: The following nationalities are permitted to obtain an entry visa on arrival at international airports in Thailand and will be admitted into the Kingdom for a 15-day stay. (This list is subject to change, so please see the link to the Immigration Bureau of Thailand below.)
